Al di Meola is one of the world’s most successful instrumental artists and has worked with artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Phil Collins, Santana, Stevie Wonder, Frank Zappa and Les Paul over the course of his remarkable career. At the age of 19, he was discovered by Chick Corea and joined his group Return To Forever, which also included Stanley Clarke and Lenny White at the time. Just a few years later, he released the legendary live album ‘Friday Night In San Francisco’ together with Paco de Lucia and John McLaughlin, which sold more than two million copies.
